Star Wars: What we (and the fans) spotted

Ok, ok, you like the new star wars trailer. We get it.

We like it too. But did you spot all this?

Fans - including Newsbeat's Chris Smith (the Force is strong in this one .. ) - have spotted a few things in the trailer which, if you know your Star Wars, might have deep significance.

For example, more than one character could be making a comeback. And it might just be the "daddy" of all baddies...

Yes, that's right, Darth Vader's helmet is picked up as we hear Luke say the words: "The force is strong in my family.

"My father has it. I have it. My sister has it."

Has.

Not had, you'll notice.

So could this be the Return of that Jedi?

But let's rewind a bit. The crashed Star Destroyer in the opening scene looks incredible. But how about the crashed X-wing just in front of it? Did it have an important pilot, perhaps? Or is this a Red mis-Leader? Perhaps that's just what JJ Abrams wants us to think? Perhaps... It's a traaaaap!

And when these X-wings buzz over the water (how cool is that!?) are they in attack position? Who are they popping up to surprise? Or who are they running from?

Rey, BB8 and Finn are making a quick getaway. But what's shooting at them? Yuh huh, that's a TIE Fighter up there. Which makes the fact he's dressed as a storm trooper at points in the trailers all the more interesting...

Who the heck is the guy on the stage? And why are there storm troopers, andsnow troopers. And sand troopers? That's a bit ragtag for the Empire, isn't it?

Hang on, now there's a TIE fighter giving it both blasters to a load of Stormtroopers? Have they gone mad? Also, ouch to that poor individual upside down in the air ...

BB8's in the Millennium Falcon. Circular doors, innit. We just made the Kesell run in one nerdgasm.

You thought the Millennium Falcon was flying into that crashed Star Destroyer from earlier on to escape the TIE Fighter? Doesn't look like it when you pause! Also, is there anything they won't shoot at?
